The Ridge in Shimla

It now houses Himachal Pradesh University, which was founded in 1975 and primarily offers postgraduate programmes in Humanities, Commerce, Science, Management, Law, and Languages. Summer Hill is located on the Kalka-Shimla Railway line, hence most students walk to Shimla Hill Station from campus.

Tara Devi Temple

Shimla’s Tara Devi temple is one of the city’s most popular religious sites. It is located approximately 11 kilometers from Shimla city at a height of 7200 feet above sea level. Shiv Bavdi is a neighboring Shiv temple.
